Music For kids For youth, by youth. Come check us out!

Charitable Registration Number

Music for Kids is a program that is designed to offer premium private music lessons to children who cannot afford the high price of the study or are left behind by conventional music education due to autism. By recruiting local high school students who are themselves aspiring musicians, high quality music lessons can be offered free of charge to all children. Music for Kids is a collaborative effort involving local youth volunteers and the pupils themselves. We employ only carefully screened youth musicians as instructors.

“MFK’s program has played a transformative role in my daughter’s music education; it teaches material that supplements and enriches regular school curriculums.”

- Jacob Mann, Kingston, 2016

Congratulations to chapter president Amy Jiang and instructors Elina Ma, Victoria To for winning our 2016 executive and instructor awards!

Groups Programs Continue in 2017!

Our collaborative group programs with other registered charities such as The Boys And Girls Club, Girls Inc., and The Helen Tufts Child Outreach Program continue into the 2017 with resounding success! Ranging from weekly to periodic events, we believe these lessons help provide in-depth exposure of music to traditional after-school/extra-curricular programs. Contact any one of the previously listed charities’ local chapters in Kingston, Ottawa, or London to find out if we are currently providing this program. We hope to soon expand this to additional cities as well.
